Personal data and cookies

This website does not require an account, does not collect personal data through forms and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. As part of its service, the hosting provider may process technical data such as IP addresses for security and performance purposes, in accordance with the Cloudflare privacy policy.

A few features rely on third parties :

• Audience measurement. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are read. It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and does not follow you from one site to another.
• Comments. Articles load their comments from giscus, which stores them as GitHub Discussions. Posting a comment requires signing in with GitHub, and the comment is public. See GitHub’s privacy statement.
• Videos. A few articles show a YouTube talk. Its preview image comes from YouTube’s servers, and the player only loads, from the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain, when you click it. YouTube may then store data in your browser. See Google’s privacy policy.

Links to third-party services such as LinkedIn are plain links : no data is shared with them unless you follow the link, in which case their own privacy policy applies.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify and delete any data concerning you.
